Welcome to the homepage of the Dupont Fire Department - Engine Company 125. Located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, our organization provides emergency services for the community of Dupont, Pennsylvania and adjoining communities. We also provide emergency response support for Interstate 81, the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476), and the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton International Airport. Incorporated since 1915, our organization is 100% volunteer and depends on the support of the community to continue providing 24/7 uninterrupted emergency response. Volunteer Members Needed

The Dupont Volunteer Fire Department is actively seeking local and resident volunteer firefighters and non- fire fighting members. Be part of a progressive volunteer emergency response organization. Your training and gear is provided for you. The Basic requirements for joining are provided below:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older...
  • No prior knowledge of firefighting required...
  • Live within the town of Dupont or a surrounding town...
  • Not a current member of another Fire Department...
  • Attendance at monthly meetings and occasional special events...

    Airport Fire Suppression & Rescue Training, Saturday July 26th:


    FIRE

    Saturday, Engine Company 125 was given the chance to train with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport Fire Department on the proper ways to extinguish fire and rescue any victims from inside an aircraft. We were designated to fulfill pumping operations of the class as Tanker 143 kept the tanks filled. At the end of the class, the boys from Engine Company 125 participated in an Engine Company Evolution.
